The University of Arizona Center for Digital Humanities, led by Bryan Carter, the center's director and a professor of Africana studies in the College of Humanities, is leveraging technology to advance the humanities. This article sheds light on some of the center’s innovative projects such as digitizing historical artifacts from the Tucson Center for Black Life, creating immersive experiences for education and research, and engaging with diverse communities and cultures.
